Incredible natural beauty
Sciliar/Schlern, Catinaccio/Rosengarten and Latemar, Puez-Odle peaks, Fanes-Sennes-Prags, Tre Cime/Drei Zimmen and the Blätterbach gorge:
all these remarkable resorts are part of the spectacular UNESCO World Heritage site. This important accolade was given to the resort in 2009, quoting the area's "unique and monumental beauty".
Steep rock faces, intimidating climbing walls, dizzy high-altitude trails and adventurous hiking trails lead through this stunning natural scenery. Many popular folklore tales are set in this area. The locals still talk about King Laurin and his rose garden, the Sciliar witches,or Princess Soreghina.
The UNESCO World Heritage site is not only interesting for historians and hiking fans, however, but also for geologists thanks to the many interesting finds that are regularly made in the resort.
