Rosengarten Catinaccio
We start our excursion
at Karerpass / Carezza
Pass.
Taking the Paulina Chair
lift, we arrive at the
famous "Hirzel Trail",
which pass by wonderful
cascades and alpine
flowers on the south
side of Rosengarten / Catinaccio.
The trail starts to
ascent and leads to the
rocky path of "Vajolon
Pass" (2560 m). Be careful not to pull
stones on the following
hikers.
We are now in the middle
of the legendary
Catinaccio Group.
Crossing the Vajolon
Pass, we arrive at a
small, very steep canjon
and we have to descend
it. Now we can see the
Roda de Vael refuge.
Our way leads down the
trail number 534 to
Carezza Pass and back to
the chair lift Paulina.
