Mount Tschafon
We
start our tour at the
parking lot Weisslahnbad
/ Bagni di Lavina Bianca
at the beginning of
Tschamin Valley.
The trail start
ascending in the forest
to the "Wuhnleger" with
beautiful views to
Catinaccio and Latemar
Group.
The nice trail in the
forest leads to
Refuge Tschafon. We
continue or walk for
another 1/2 hour and
arrive at the Völseggspitze.
The amazing view all
over South Tyrol, Eisack
Valley and Mount
Sciliar is one of
the most spectacular
you'll in in the Schlern
area.
We recommend to stop at the Tschafon Hut to taste the wonderful Tyrolean dumplings.
Descending the forest to Schönblick, the trail returns back to the parking lot at Weislahnbad.
