Mount Stevia
Odle,
Puez, Sassongher and
Stevia are prominent
mountains situated in
the north western sector
of the Dolomites and
only half an hour from
Seis.
We start our excursion
at Santa Cristina in
Gardena Valley. With the
Cable Car "Col Raiser"
we arrive at the
mountain hut "Firenze "
2.037 on an easy and
very nice trail.
Now the trail is going
very steep up to the
Piza Pass 2.489 m.
The amazing view goes on
Col dla Pieres
and the crest of Cir.
From here, the trail
goes down to mountain
hut Stevia.
This is the reign of the
eagle who lives at the
cliffs high above
Vallunga, a secluded
valley pituresque in its
wilderness.
From the Stevia hut, the magnificent trail through Silvester Pass brings us down to the meadows of Juac. An easy way follows the Cable Car of Col Raiser to the parking lot at Santa Cristina.
