Lake Antermoja
The Antermoja lake
is one of the most
beautiful places in the
Catinaccio mountains.
It's a very long way to
reach the lake, whether
from Alpe di Siusi or
from the Fassa Valley.
For a round trip you
have to consider a 9
hours walk. An overnight
at Antermoja refuge is
recommended.
We start our tour at
Pera di Fassa in the
Fassa Valley.
A shuttle service brings
us at the Stella Alpina
refuge in the beautiful
Gardeccia valley 1900 m.
From here the trail
ascends to the desert
area of "Larsec" and over the Laussa Pass
2700 m to the Antermoja
lake.
The trail is recommended
only to experts and in
different places shows
dangerous points from
falling rocks.
From the Antermoja
refuge we descend to the
Duron Valley, ascend to
the Molignon Pass and
arrive at Alpe di Siusi.
It is also possible to
arrive to Lake Antermoja
from Alpe di Siusi.
